Ex-library copy with number to reverse of title and catalogue note to reverse of folding frontispiece, lightly browned, slightly chipped, folding frontispiece coming slightly detached from pamphlet at head but holding well, worn to spine where removed from a volume of pamphlets, otherwise fairly clean.

The sermon comprises the first twelve pages, with a ‘Brief Narrative of Events’ of three pages, the final page lists the people killed in the disaster, including several children, the youngest being ten years old. The folding frontispiece is an image of the funeral procession taken from the Illustrated London News.
