Slightly chipped to spine ends, rubbed to extremities, corners bumped and worn, joints split to volume one, but holding well. Internally lightly browned, but generally clean. Previous owners bookplate to front pastedowns, with same owners name in pen to ffep of volume one. Five engraved portraits in total (as called for)
