Original cloth, t.e.g., title in red and black, recently rebacked in calf. Corners rubbed, a few spots of foxing to first few pages and page edges, small stain to reverse of plate xliv and foot of page 99, otherwise quite bright and clean

Number one hundred and twenty-eight of one hundred and fifty copies with the sixty-two plates printed in monotint. There was also a numbered edition of twenty-five copies with the plates printed on Japanese paper in monotint, and another numbered edition of twenty-five copies with the plates printed in colour
