Slightly later half-vellum and marbled paper over boards, smooth back, leather title label to spine, t.e.g.

Vellum rubbed, especially to spine and front cover, rubbed to extremities, with small amount of loss to paper covering boards. Internally lightly browned, but generally quite clean and bright. Gift inscription to ffep to an Arthur Pomeroy from a Dr Steele (Dr Steele also apparently taught Oscar Wilde – See Frank Harris).

Thirty-seven hand-coloured plates to rear, binding is by F. Cavenagh of Dublin (See Ramsden, page 230, though spelt differently and at a slightly different address, almost certainly the same binder).
