[000118] Thornbury, Walter, Two Centuries of Song; or, Lyrics, Madrigals, Sonnets, and Other Occasional Verses of the English Poets of the Last Two Hundred Years, Shaw, Henry, Sampson Low, Son and Marston, London, 1867, First Edition, Good. Full Morocco, 8vo, xii, 308pp, contemporary full morocco, raised bands, spine in six panels, title in gilt to second panel, remaining panels with volute corner pieces and cross centre piece, covers with dog-tooth roll bordering a double fillet framing an elaborate flower and leaf roll and a concaved side diamond centre piece, gilt roll to edges and inner edges, a.e.g., curl marbled endpapers.

Worn to extremities, especially outer joints, minor chipping to spine ends. Internally lightly browned, with some light dampstaining to head of plates, but fairly bright and clean. With the bookplate of Percival F. Hinton to front pastedown, from the library of Eric Quayle.
