Outer joints and spine with Japanese tissue repairs, small amount of loss to spine ends, corners bumped, board edges with a couple of bumps. Internally some light foxing to endpapers and preliminary leaves, one or two spots throughout text, but generally fairly clean, ffep and title very slightly loose, with small split to bottom of the front joint, text slightly cracked between pages 36 and 37, but holding well. The preface is signed ‘I.B. from Longleat’, ie. Isabella Elizabeth Byng, Second Marchioness of Bath (1773-1830). Includes brewing, bread making, keeping cows and pigs, and recipes
