Later (late-eighteenth century) full-calf, raised bands, spines in six panels, contrasting title / volume labels to second and third panels, volute corner pieces and central lozenge shaped tool to remaining panels, gilt flower head frame to covers, all edges marbled with blue paste endpapers.
Volume one lacks title label, volumes two and three lack both labels, volume label to volume four is chipped with a small amount of loss. Head of spines chipped, some rubbing to extremities, front joints split to all volumes, but all holding well on cords. Internally some light browning, usually to edges, but occasionally to text, with some minor foxing. Two additional engraved titles by Wingendorp, with a letterpress title to volume one. Previous owners name to title and first page of text.
