The indenture is for George Finlay, son of Mary Finlay, of Alnwick, to learn to be a weaver. This indenture includes the usual prohibition against “Taverns, Inns, or Ale-Houses, he shall not haunt; at Cards, Dice, Tables, or any other unlawful Game he shall not play”
