Nineteenth century straight grain morocco, raised bands, spine in six panels, title in gilt to second panel, remaining panels with small roundel corner pieces and a central roundel with a flower head inside with small tripod type tool emanating, all enclosed in a double line border, with a dotted line to head and foot. Covers with a double line border around a small flower head roll, with small flower head corner pieces, a.e.g., gilt roll to inner edge, Stormont marbled endpapers

Rubbed to extremities with small amounts of loss of colour, especially to spine ends, corners gently bumped. Internally lightly browned throughout, occasionally heavier, with some light foxing, but never really obtrusive
