Head cap of first volume with small amount of loss, very minor rubbing to extremities, small patch of light discolouring towards foot of upper cover of first volume. Internally very lightly browned throughout, the second volume has more extensive browning to the bottom half of the pages between Y6 and 2A, small nick to fore edge of U1 in the third volume, but generally fairly clean
With half titles, and book plate of J. Cresswell to each front pastedown
