Slightly chipped to head of spine, rubbed to extremities and slightly rubbed to paper covering covers. Internally light foxing and off setting to frontispiece and title, frontispiece with water staining to foot, occasional patches of light foxing, small spot of foxing to bottom margin of signature N, B7 and B8 are partially remargined, with a small piece missing from the fore edge margin of B8. Former owner’s name to ffep (Virginie Jallat?). Engraved frontispiece and several engravings to text
