Lightly creased from old folds, several Japanese tissue repairs to reverse, with a small amount of loss to the centre of the poster (from the ‘n’ in ‘man’), though relatively unobtrusive and could be coloured, a couple of small nicks and tears to white border

This is the 1951 version, a remake of the 1931 original, which was based on the 1930 novel of the same name by William Riley Burnett (who also wrote Little Caesar)

This version was directed by Joseph Pevney, and starred Jeff Chandler, Evelyn Keyes, and Rock Hudson
