Rebound in modern half-calf and marbled boards, raised bands, spine in six panels, original morocco label relaid in second panel, bands bordered by gilt double rules.
Title label slightly chipped otherwise externally very good indeed. Internally the first work is lightly browned throughout, but fairly clean. The second work has a small water stain to fore-edge throughout, with a larger and heavier water stain to corners of the last two signatures.
First work was largely by Burke, the third edition, with the 6pp list of books but lacking the 24pp catalogue, which according to Todd is missing in most copies, Todd 62c.
The second work is by Camille Desmoulins, and is the second edition
