Chipped to edges with small amounts of loss, staining from tape to head and foot, a few small tears.

The letterpress notes ‘that great statesman [ie. Palmerston] whom we have lost”, so presumably dates after Palmerston’s death in 1865, and also mentions “the polls”, so perhaps dates from the General Election of 1868?

BBTI notes a Leach as a printer in Wisbech from as early as 1823 and as late as 1847, so this could easily be the next generation of Leach’s as the printer here
