Lightly browned, slight loss to right hand edge, a couple of tiny holes, but no loss of sense, a couple of light spots, but generally clean
Playbill for the 18th, 19th, and 20th of January, 1816, with the headline show being The Inscription; Or, Indian Hunters, written by a Miss Scott, followed by The Young Seranader, in turn followed by the Witch and the Owl: Or, The Palace of the Silver Lake (with a real owl), the evening ending with a performance on the octave flute by the four year old ‘infant musical genius’, Master Snelling
The playbill was printed by Lowndes of Drury Lane, probably Charles Lowndes (see Todd, page 122, and the BBTI)
