A promotion of banks over Friendly Societies, noting that the regular saving of small sums will soon add up, a shilling a week would be £20 in seven years for example. It also decries ‘Saint Monday’ (the tradition of not working on a Monday – my favourite example of which were the bricklayers, who threw a brick into the air and if it came down they didn’t work)
The printer was [William] Dash of Kettering (see BBTI)
