Slightly later half-calf and cloth, flat raised bands with spine in five panels, gilt title to second panel, volume number to fourth, with gilt floral lozenge centre piece to remaining panels, all panels bordered with gilt double fillet with small corner pieces
Spines slightly faded, rubbed to extremities, cloth is faded (old damp?) to fore-edges. Internally sporadic light foxing and occasional light dust-staining, but generally fairly clean, a few small nicks to page edges, many creases from where the corners have been folded over
