Rubbed to extremities, very slightly chipped to head caps. Internally an occasional hint of foxing, especially to frontispiece, some light off setting from engravings, but generally quite bright and clean. Armorial bookplate of Sir Timothy Eden to front pastedowns

With a portrait frontispiece after Hogarth, and eight engravings by George Cruikshank (as called for)
