The original artwork for Loved Locked Out from Jesus Wept, titled in pencil, Love Locked Out. The image in the book is accompanied by an excerpt from another Wragg illustrated work Time To Spare, “I think there’s more shame on me for having these children, bringing them up when there’s nothing for them. But what can we do? There’s no one to show us any different or tell us how to prevent having them. There’s no clinic in our town. It would be fine to have children if we were in work and there was some future for the children – but my biggest fear now is to have another. We want to bring children up to be a credit to us, but you can’t these days, however much you want to. They won’t be a credit to the country either when they grow up. I wonder whether you’ve thought of that?”
