Another couple of years pass (largely unproductively!)
Noticing that the last Bulletin posted here was XL, I should note that we are now up to XLIV, they can all be seen here
Categories (on the left hand side of the website) have been reduced due to declining levels of stock (both generally and in those specific categories). Stock updates remain sporadic
We have applied to rejoin the PBFA, so we hope to be exhibiting at a couple of fairs this year (presuming they let me back in), so I will update the fairs section (or not!) when applicable
We have now added a ‘Book Fair’ page with links to the forthcoming book fairs that we will be attending.
If there are items of stock that you would like to see ‘in the flesh’ from the website, let us know (a week in advance if possible) and we will try to bring them along for you.
We also usually attend the monthly Etc fair (usually held on the second Sunday of each month) at the Royal National hotel if that is more convenient.
The excellent PBFA/FPBA Fine Press Fair is this weekend at Brookes in Oxford. Always worth a visit, (especially for those of us who like decorated papers), and only a fiver!
Fine Press Fair
We have finally arrived in York for the start of this years fair – an uneventful set up, with some modest, but welcome, sales. A picture of the stand is below – complete with the brand new sign (thanks to the office staff at the PBFA for sorting it out and delivering it)
Well we will soon be off to the York Book Fair, the biggest in the UK and one of the biggest in the world. We are on the first floor at stand 194 (there are somewhere in the region of two hundred and twenty stands), so feel free to come and visit us. Our new catalogue will be available to pick up
Tomorrow sees the opening of the first of the two major London book fairs for this year – The ABA fair at Olympia, swiftly followed by the PBFA at ILEC on Friday. Both should be full of excellent opportunities to add to your libraries
