A few spots of foxing, lightly creased, a few small holes, but generally fairly clean, printing flaw to bottom right hand corner, but without loss of sense

Tissue for the Lord Mayor’s show, with a car representing the Entente Cordiale, one representing Peace, and one representing the Colonies

The Lord Mayor was Walter Vaughan Morgan, a banker

The tissues were generally imported from Japan, pre-printed with decorative borders, with the central portion left blank to be filled in with the event to be commemorated. This example doesn’t really fit the usual pattern of a Burgess production, so was perhaps produced elsewhere
